We welcome research professionals, postdoctoral research scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate students to join our highly interdisciplinary collaborative team.  Specific positions are advertised on this page as they become available.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (Liver), Biological Engineering – DARPA Microphysiological Systems Program, to join the laboratory of Prof. Linda Griffith.  Responsibilities include culture of 3D liver in a bioreactor as micro-physiological system model for use in the DARPA Human Physiome on a Chip project; performing isolation of rodent primary hepatocytes; preparing samples and running biochemical assays; preparing weekly progress reports detailing experimental issues, data/experimental results/updates, plan for following week, and long-term issues that need addressing; preparing careful documentation of protocols and training collaborators to execute or troubleshoot those protocols; performing laboratory work which includes sterile cell culture, CYP assays, quantitative microscopy, ELISAs, analysis, and plotting of data; and other duties as necessary
